Piaggio Aero partecipate in Air India 2008, the first exhibition and conference of civil aviation to be held in Hyderabad 15,18 October 2008

Piaggio Aero P180 Avanti II executive aircraft will be displayed for the first time in India at the first edition of INDIA AVIATION 2008 to be held at Hyderabad Airport from 15th to 18th October 2008. (Piaggio Aero stand B-6 and static display)

INDIA AVIATION 2008 is the first Civil Aviation Exhibition in India and it has been organized by Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India jointly with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry.

At the first edition of the Hyderabad Air Show are expected several famous aircraft industries present as exhibitors and on Static Display; Business aviation Indian market is growing very rapidly in these years and the booming of this sector offers great opportunities to the aviation industry.

The Avanti II achieves 'Jet’ performance and is able to reach a certified altitude of 41,000ft and a maximum speed of 402 knots (at 31,000ft) with the fuel efficiency of a Turbo Prop, burning about 40 per cent less fuel than a same size jet. While in flight the spacious cabin sets new standards in comfort, smoothness and extremely low ambient internal cabin noise levels. The cabin provides seating for seven plus passengers to travel in unprecedented first class comfort. The first class 'stand-up’ cabin is six feet wide and five feet nine inches high which is wider and taller than most of the competing business aircraft in its weight and pricing class.
